Lockout problem...
So can a professional locksmith get the doors to open...or will I be forced to break a window to get into the car?
you would basically be charging the system with a low current through the fog light wires
I got bored at work one day and decided to see if I could break into my own car using the master lockout set(one in each towtruck). I was uncessful. If I *needed* to (ie: child/baby locked in car[happens more often than you would think]), I could have gotten in, but there would have been scratches or some sort of visible damage though.
So what battery is best for replacement? OE Audi will probalby be like $120, right?

If you have a long reach tool(or similar) you may be able to pull the hood release. If you can manage to do this, you will now be able to charge your battery and your problems will be solved.

I once had to do this to a '95ish Jetta in a very similar situation. It took me and another very experienced guy about 45mins to finally get in. Very frustrating.
This sounds ALOT easier than it actually is, and there is a good chance you will put a few small scratches on your paint, mainly on the roof edge and in the door frame itself. But these are normally covered up with the weatherstripping when the door is closed.
Now I know some of you are thinking, "Great, this jackass just showed everybody how to break into our car!" Not to worry, even if you gain acess to the interior of the vehicle with the long reach tool and wedge, there is no way of unlocking a locked Audi. The doorlocks will not work from inside with the alarm enabled. Trust me, I've tried. You will need a locksmith and some MacGuiver type sh*t. It will lock itself back up in about a nanosecond. Same with most Toyotas. Any theif who would be so careful to use this method would risk getting caught as it will probably take 20-25mins just to gain acess. I don't think we have to be worried about another enthusiast on the forums stealing one of our cars.
Oh, and good luck obtaining these tools. They are not for sale to the general public. You may want to try calling AAA and see what/who they can send out to you.
