I'm considering fabricating some rear caliper spacers and stepping up to 280mm in the rear and either 312 or 321 in the front.

if I shave the dinky rear pads down 5mm per side the 280x22mm 8e0 615 301 B rotors will fit in the stock calipers... since pads are a whopping $30 something per set I think that sounds like a good idea... also rear pads dont wear too quick, so if I have to replace them once a year.... I'm cool with that.

I put one of the 280mm rotors on a hub and sized it up... they are very close in shape to the stock A4 rear rotors. Fittment wont present any issues... all I have to do is make some simple dogbone shaped pieces to space the calipers outwards like an inch or so... not sure if aluminum stock is apropriate for rear brakes or not.... I think it is, but I'll do a lil more research before I take a stab at it.

If I can get my hands on some aluminum stock I think I might try making the rear spacers this weekend.

hmmm.... too bad audi usa hasnt got any in stock... and never has because we dont get those here.... however I bet I could get some imported through northside importers at work. HMMMMM.

280 or 288... I like 280 ventilated... but 288, thats even bigger
