Default Looks like PC16 software really is aggressive. Since I ended up with 91 octane in the tank

from a Shell attendant screw-up, I figured I'd log correction factors to see if it makes a big difference. This is in 46 degree temps.

Block 003---------Block 020
RPM--MAF--Thr--BTDC-Timing Retard
2880 66.59 86.8 13.5 0 0 1.5 0
4760 172.08 86.8 17.3 0 0 0.7 0
6600 186.59 86.8 17.3 4.5 2.2 4.5 2.2
6080 188.61 86.8 14.3 3.7 0.7 3.7 0.7
6320 26.32 17.8 37.5 2.2 0 2.2 0
4640 136.87 86.8 18 0 0 0 0
4840 170.97 86.8 15 0 0 0 0
5440 184.23 86.8 14.3 0 2.2 4.5 4.5
5960 187.15 86.8 14.3 0 1.5 3.7 3.7
6040 46.32 17.4 30.8 0 0 1.5 2.2

The worst I've seen with 93 octane looks like that last line in much warmer temps. So no Englishtown until this gas is completely used up (13 gallons left!!!). It's a mix of 5.3 gallons Shell 87 and about 9 gallons V-Power. That's roughly 90.8 octane. Also, I've never had my throttle angle so wide open before. Good to see that.

Default

well, the bright side is there is more power to be had. What do you think is causing yours?

Default probably intake temp <=> stock smic

but...the CFs did go down slightly with the new fueling.

once i finish my SAIP relocation my car will stop running pig rich for so long on startup, CEL will go away and I'll do some more logs (after plugs/oil/seafoam).

then i'll be able to see any change from the move to 3->3.5 bar.

conversely, the fact that you are running near zero CFs means that your setup is capable of more power but the software is holding it back.

Default

yeah, I guess I could try lowering fuel pressure a little using 93 octane

Default ...to intentionlly running lean(er)?

i probably wouldn't do that now that the weather has changed...unless you make sure to change it back in the spring

do you have a MBC in parallel? maybe you could get more power by cutting off a boost spike if there is one? (i know you dont have a map sensor)

I guess logging N75 duty cycle might show what the ECU is doing.

Default it doesn't spike to the point where it can't keep up. It boosts really smooth

no MBC. I think I'm going to just leave it alone. It runs great and doesn't consume too much fuel, so I'm happy with it.
