Default Wheel Cleaner is ACID... it will not damage the wheels... but it will damage...

The finish on the brake calipers... If you use plain hot and soapy water, then your calipers will stay nice for years...

Use that wheel cleaner crap just once, and it eats the finish off the calipers instantly...
