Hey guys I have a 1999 A4 Quattro 1.8T. It started running rough so i borrowed the scanner at advance auto and it said misfire on cylinder #2. I figured it was the coil so i replaced the spark plug and coil pack, and still is doing the same thing. I also put some 93 in the tank and some sea foam to see if it could possibly be an injector...but the problem is still there. Any Ideas????

Last time my engine was misfiring it turned out to be a bad wire. I happened to be checking under the hood as it was getting dark out and noticed an electric arc from the wire to the valve cover. The spark was not bright enough to see during daylight so I was lucky that I decided to check it out at night. There was a nearly invisible pinhole on the end of the wire and every once in a while it would arc and cause a misfire. I used some electrical tape to cover the hole and so far so good.
