Mmm...brakes! (warning....to the camera g*d's...I am the digital SLR NOOB!!!)
After trying to find used Boxter calipers in good condition and being sniped on ebay several times...I opted to purchase a new set. A friend works for Porsche/Audi and got me them hella cheap. Im going to use my current ECS rotors, Liam/PureMS brackets, and OEM Porsche pads.

Nice. They look good just like that too. Are you going to paint them?
I'm not trying to be sarcastic with that question just in case you may think so. I'm asking it because many people seem to want to paint them, yet they look cool just the way they are. I want those on my next A4. The A4 I have now does not deserve those. LOL

Im thinking powercoat....for several reasons....
One...Im not a HUGE fan of black brakes....although my second reason is more important. My buddy said many many boxters come back with worn/faded brake calipers...even after not much use. He said that regular cleaning of the wheels causes the face of the caliper to fade and look dull. Im not sure of the validity of his comment...but I figured if I am going to powdercoat them...I should do it while they're brand new and clean.
