Default mobil 1 weight questions....

i am in honolulu now for another 2-3months, and have my 10,000 mile service coming up... what weight of mobil 1 should i put in? after that i'm off to socal, so what weight should i get there? or is there a good compromise for this? temps here in the day are in the mid 80's, with nights getting down to 70-75 degrees.

But you'll have difficulty finding those weights in the U.S....look for 0w-30 or 5w-30 Mobil-1

Default wow you run that? is that better than "pro-long" where Al Unser sr. drove a viper w/o oil. hahah!

of course i don't know why such a big figure in racing would endorse that and have consumer reports say they damaged 2 cars testing the validity of those claims.

Default It's for the...

...technically challeged consumer group. You kknow, the ones that'll believe anything they see a product do is for real.

Default I use 0W30 Mobil1...

Check out Pep boys if they're in your area. I've always had luck with getting Mobil1 0W30 at Pep boys.
