I got a call around 11 AM today from a very good friend of mine, and the person who first turned me on to Audi's. A tractor trailer rear ended his wife while she was driving his '98 2.8 A4. From the sound of his voice, she was fine but shaken, but the hospital was going through routine procedures (xrays, etc.). No doubt she'll be sore in the coming days, but hopefully that will be it.

Here's what kills me. The tractor trailer pulled up behind her at a red light. All traffic stopped. At some point, the car in front of her moved forward, and the tractor trailer *forgot* that the A4 was directly in front of him. He couldn't see over the front of the truck, so he pulled forward, rear-ending her. At first he though that the clutch lurched a bit, so he put it back into gear and proceeded forward AGAIN. Rear ending her yet again! Stupid f----ing drivers! Sorry, but personally, I'm getting a little fed up with careless **** like this! Hopefully my friend's wife won't have more than a few days of pain before she can put this misery behind her.

i mean, there's been how many of us rear ended the past few weeks? and how many are for stupid *** reasons of other drivers not paying attention in the dumbest situations!!!!!!
