Default Here is the APR GROUP BUY info again...

-To be a part of this group buy, email me at: ryan.hodorovitch@wcom.com With the subject line "APR GROUP INFO", and make sure to include all the info that i have requested further into this email.
-If you have questions regarding this group buy that are not covered in this email, email me at the same address as above, but do NOT use "APR GROUP INFO" in your subject line.
-Email me with questions AFTER you have read the rest of this email.

-I will start off by saying i spoke with Chris at APR this morning and all the following info is completely updated to the day.
-We still need about 30 more people to participate for this group buy to happen, so please join!
-I am setting a close date of Friday the 22nd of September at 10pm Mountain Time for this group buy,
-If we do NOT have enough people by then, i will extend the date.
-If we DO have enough people by that date, then there will be no exceptions, so sign up now.
-If your car is on order YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE in this group buy. Chris said he would hold your order until your car comes in.
-If you choose to wait until your car comes in, you will not be able to get this great of a deal on a chip for your car.
-The 2001 S4 chip is not available right now, but by the time your order is placed, it will be available, so sign up now.
-This is an AUDI only group buy. Not by my choice, but by APR's choice. Sorry All you VW owners.

Here are the details of the APR Group Buy:

***PRICES (REGULAR PRICE)
A4 1.8t MY2000-01 = $499
A4 1.8t MY1997-99 = $399
S4 MY2000-01 = $599
A6 2.7 MY2000-01 = $599
TT All MAKES&MY = $499 or $599(not sure)

***SPARE ECU's (REGULAR PRICE)
A4 1.8t MY2000-01 = $680
A4 1.8t MY1997-99 = $780
S4 MY2000-01 = $500
A6 2.7 MY2000-01 = $500
TT All MAKES&MY = $500-$650 (not sure)

***EMCS
EMCS is available on ALL MY2000-01 Chips = $149 (for stock and chipped settings) + $89 (for additional features/settings)

***DISCOUNTS
$100 off of ALL chips.
If you purchase EMCS @ $149, you will recieve an EXTRA feature FREE (reg. $89)

***SHIPPING
After you have paid, You will each be contacted individually by CHRIS at APR.
He will then set up convienient dates for you to send in your ECU.
The Date you set up with CHRIS will determine when you recieve your Order.
The reason it is done this way, is so APR does not recieve 100 ECU's all on the same day.

***PAYMENT
There are 2 ways to pay me, its up to you, both are 100% secure.

1.) You can use paypal.com (highly reccomended)
PayPal.com is an online money exchange site.
Its simple to use and highly effective.
After payments are figured out, i will send you an email through PayPal.com
requesting the EXACT ammount you owe. You then click on the link
in your email and sign up for a PayPal.com Account.
After signed up, you can submit a credit card number to PayPal.com and
that will avoid anyone knowing your credit card # besides you and PayPal.com
Or you can submit a bank account and routing number (which gets you $5 for free)
and the payment can be taken directly from your bank account. After you submit a
payment, your balance will then be transfered into my account as a Credit. How do
you know i wont just cash out your money and run with it? Because i am considered a "verified user".
A "verified user" is one who has submitted a bank account to PayPal.com which
means they have ways of tracking me down. PLUS if you are purchasing from a verified user
(which you will be, me) and i dont come through with the product, they have insurance
for up to $5000 to reinburse your money. Its Totally safe, and i dont plan on taking your money,
but those are reassuring facts that will hopefully increase your trust in using PayPal.com for this Group Buy

OR if you dont mind me having your credit card number...

2.) You can directly give me your credit card number, type and expiration date.
Giving it directly to me can be done in a number of ways:
-Email all the info (not recommended)
-Give me the info via AIM (not reccomended)
-Call me directly (reccomended)
-I can call you directly (recommended)

After your payment is recieved, and i confirm it, i will be sending a list containing everyone's info
to CHRIS at APR. He is going to take the list and Go through every single person, calling them
and setting up a date for you to send your ECU to APR.

***IF YOU WANT IN ON THIS GROUP BUY HERE IS WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO
I know some of you might have already sent me and email containing this,
but i need another one listing the requested info in the exact order i specify.

First thing is in the SUBJECT line of your EMAIL use this "APR GROUP INFO".
Then include ONLY the following in your email in this exact order:

-NAME:
-SHIPPING ADDRESS:
-PHONE #(S) W/ AREA CODE:
-EMAIL ADDRESS:
-MODEL & MAKE OF CAR W/ *EVERY* OPTION:
-DO YOU WANT EMCS ADDED TO YOUR CHIP:
-WHICH OPTIONS DO YOU WANT ON YOUR EMCS:
-DO YOU WANT A SPARE ECU:
-DO YOU WANT TO PAY BY PAYPAL.COM OR BY GIVING ME YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO:
-IF BY CREDIT CARD, HOW WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO OBTAIN THE INFO:

(If you choose to pay through PayPal.com, expect a verification email very soon)

Please, for my ease, list your info in EXACTLY that order AND use "APR GROUP INFO" in the subject line of your email.

For all other questions, do NOT use "APR GROUP INFO" in the subject line of your email.

I hope this info helps out. I am also available on AIM under the name "posplug1" for any questions.

Default Standard Bonehead Questions

If purchasing a spare ECU, that negates the need to FedEx the stock unit to APR, correct?

Do the 2001s need a VAG1551 reset after swapping the black box?

(499 + 680 - 100 = 1079... that ain't so bad...)
--

Default Re: Standard Bonehead Questions

Well I wouldnt think you would need to send in your ECU if you get a spare one...but i am not 100% sure. I will call APR in the morning with the question...And about the VAG1551, i honestly have no clue what that is, so you are going to want to ask APR that. Hope that helps!

Default Thanks!

I want to thank you for pulling this together. The timing for me (with the eminent release of the APR '01 chip) was perfect.
2001 A4 1.8TQMS
