Excerpts from an Alta Vista translation
Engine is a V6 with 2,7 litres capacity, two Turbos and five valves per cylinder. Modified by Cosworth, Larger loaders and higher pressure have incresaed the performance from 265 to 380 HPat 6500/min.
The S4 chasis has been modified, larger brakes and a A steering rack with direct translation is to improve the handling - suitably the " Top model for the consciously sportily oriented driver”
The car is due out spring ‘00 at an estimated price of 120,000 DM (ca. $60K). The RS4 is only the first child of a new RS family, RS6 and RS3 is to be expected in ‘01.
