If the TSB on wind noise is dated May 18, 1999, how come the MY 2000 1.8T I test drove still has a lot of wind noise?

It is funny for a German-speaking person to see the 2000 m.y. cars to be referred to as
"00" cars, because:

in Germany, '00' indicates a toilet or w.c.

The 1.8T 2000 I test drove did not have this prob at 80mph on the freeway.........

If I'm not mistaken, the TSB addresses wind noise from the driver's side mirror - only one potential source of wind noise. Several people on this forum have had problems with wind noise due to door or window frame misalignment. See post below for more info (presently at bottom of page 1).
