My 2.8 misses at low RPM under load.
Thanks ahead of time for the reply. If I shift into 2nd at low RPM and give it gas it misses. I'm not talking about lugging it. Any ideas where to start? No check engine light. Runs fine other wise. Pulls strong going up hills at higher RPM and full throttle.

Coil maybe.....
I would get a misfire now and then. The code says it was one of the coils for the plugs. Might be a sketchy coil like mine. I never fixed it because it is rare, but does miss now and then.

If it misses on 2 cylinders, it's an ignition coil...
3 ignition coils and 6 cylinders...you can do the math.
If it's just one cylinder, it's probably a wire. My guess is this is what's happening, because the car would be a total dud if you were running on 4 cylinders under load. If the wires have more than 75K on them, I would replace them all, along with the plugs, and then reevaluate.
