Default my '98 2.8 is a piece of ****

Seems like mhy car is a rolling sound-making, creaking, squeeking machine. Ok, maybe an exageration but still... my headliner thumps when I go over big bumps (sunroof track? it works fine though), and i hear very loud creaking when at standstill and i turn the wheel (also when i go over bumps) control arm? maybe. i'm starting to think I should have just gotten a prelude or something. This sucks!

Default awesome is that a jiffy lube oil change reminder in your window in...

your picture post. i was trying to check out your car to see how long you have owned it etc. if it is a jiffy lube (etc) reminder, could be the beginning of understanding why your car has become a piece of ****.

I have a 98 2.8QM with 35000 on it. It has been cared for like a Swiss watch and only at the dealer with all care being done way ahead because of the low miles. Out of warranty for a year,so at 32000 spent $420 for tie rod ends and alignment. The other day I smelled a note of oil in the cabin. Took it in and the dealer tells me the leak is coming from the front of the engine and requires pulling the heads and welding an area where they hammer a steel ball in the head to seal it. They claim it happens regularly and will cost about $1500 to fix. I didn't think I bought a Jag (good looking car but a mechanical invalid) but this sucks. I guess I expected better for $35G. Got me once but it will be the last.
