My auto-dimming rear view mirror and driver side rear view mirrow do not auto-dim, any ideas?

my driver's side has been yellow for a long time. still dims fine, tho

Well I guess since I got the car I have never seen it work. (I bought used)

Default If it's anything like the B6, when I bought mine, it stopped working all of a sudden. I fixed it by
taking the rear view mirror appart and cleaning contacts/wiggling wires around. The main circuit is in the mirror that controls the side mirrors as well. Got all the way to the circuit to check for any loose connections. When i put it back together, it just worked. That was a year an a half ago and still working.
