My baby is losing her garage soon...
I'll be heading to Auburn for Grad School in August and my car will be living outside for the first time in her life. I've never heen one for waxing the car, but I think under these circumstances it's the best thing for the sake of protecting her finish. My question is, what is the 'strongest' and longest lasting wax out there? Also in more generic terms, do you really need to go through the whole clean, polish, and wax drill? Or is just waxing acceptable?

My 2 cents....
You can just wax, but eventually the wax will build up with other crud, and you'll want to polish it all away eventually.
As far as a good long lasting wax.... I've had 3M's Liquid wax on for about a while now, and it is far superior in lasting protection than any other wax I've yet to use.
