Default My first sat off in a couple of weeks...and I find myself back at work.

The battery in the black avant died this morning. Now I could have been a sensible person and just put it off till monday and brought a battery home from work. I could have gone to the local VW or Audi dealer and picked up a battery then reuturned a new one from work so I get my discount. I could have put the sedan's new battery in the avant... I could have done any number of things and still paid cost on the battery or have just sucked it up and paid retail GASP! me pay retail... I don't think so. What do I do... mind you I made this decision having been woken to fix the problem at 1pm this afternoon... I dunno about your parts department but mine closes at 2pm. A phone call to verify inventory and off we go to work. A brisk drive ~34mi drive to work with some extra fun heavy holiday traffic comprised of saito-masochistic shoppers looking to rip your trakia out over a dickle me elmo doll. So to work I drive accompanied by my father in the Saab convertible to fetch an AF battery. I was at work for precisely 2 mins, I re-checked supercedure of the battery grabbed one from the shelf, invoiced myself (I'll pay later) and walked out with a battery. I arrive home, install battery and oh fun I cant find the radio code. For the black avant. GO ME!

I dont know why I typed this frog blog entry out... I don;t expect you to care.

Even though you cant find your radio code...your day has been much more productive than mine.

Default That may be... but my usual weekend away from work objective is non-productivity.

That and not getting arrestigated.

Default Odd, but I have my radio code memorized, I have a tendancy to remember numbers.

Along with the fact that the radio code is more like a "sale" price on something.

Default I can remember part numbers

largely because we use an intelligent numbering system. I'd be SOL if I was working with japanese cars.

Default I thought Thanksgiving, too. Unfortuantely I was sick and now it's too cold.

I am thinking about taking it all to Renn-Art and having them do the install. I have to see what the weather in Chicago is going to be like next week end.
