My First Track Day!
That was some of the most fun i have ever had in my car, best thing...its legal.
I could really push the limits knowing if it all came undone i would hit dirt and not a tree, or a wombat, kangaroo, etc.
Nice to see i could scare some other cars out there with more power like WRX's, Silvia's, even an S2000!
Final and best time for the day was a 1:19:2600, 0:10.0500 behind the race leader and 23 out of 49 Cars at Wakefield Park in Golburn Australia.
Not a bad result from a stock car (well almost stock) and i drove with mechanical sympathy as well never taking her past 5.5K revs, can't say i drove with tyre sympathy in mind.
I've said it before and i'll say it again DON'T BUY SUMITOMO'S well not if you want performance. they squelled in protest the entire time.
Saving like scrooge for mods so i can really compete and get my times down.

Awesome - Still waiting for cash so I can upgrade my suspension and brakes before tracking
.. Off topic though I had a chance to go kart racing on the weekend - I realised there's a lot more to tracking than I had anticipated.
I got killed in the corners because I was not getting the line right, throttling when I shouldn't etc.
All in all a lot of fun.
