I can't DIY because I don't have a garage/tools.

He is totally broke...so it will be money, not food...How much would a brake place charge?

Good shop would be $100-150 or so. It would take maybe 2 hours unless they have problems.

He's got all the tools...and a garage...if my wheel bearing needs replacement he is going to do that
