My fuel economy is down to 19.2 MPG!!! I changed my plugs, got the car aligned

Default My fuel economy is down to 19.2 MPG!!! I changed my plugs, got the car aligned

cleaned the fuel injectors, and no improvement....what else should I do?

I was getting 25 MPG before. I'm not driving any faster or harder.

99.5 1.8TQS 77k

Default City driving only getting...

I'm only getting 18.7 but doing mostly city driving.

i'm trying figure out where my 100 miles per tank went >=(

i also changed the plugs... i'm going to clean the injectors and change the fuel filter this weekend. also put in a tank of 100oct to burn off anything...

hopefully i'll get ~350 mpt again...

I do a good mix of freeway and city....same conditions, approx. speed, & rate of acceleration

Hmm, maybe I should have the fuel filter changed...but I hear its good for life. think thats BS??

Mine has always been about 19-20 mpg. But then again it is a qtip.

MY tippy gets about 25-26 mpg, it does seem better during warmer weather though

I'm about 20mpg on a 2.8q tip. I think it used to be better.

I'd think that my 5-spd would get 'bout 27...like it did when I 1st got it
