My latest mod -- added the sunglass holder (thanks, Christian)
Following Christian's FAQ, I added the VW sunglass holder to my 1.8T. I can almost feel the car's performance improve :-)
I ordered it from my local VW dealer. Incidentally, I have the opal gray leatherette interior and this is the gray sunglass holder (part #1CO 857 465 Y20). I think the match is very good; the color of the sunglass holder is just a shade lighter than the grab handle (otherwise known as the "Jesus Strap" as in "Jesus! You drive like a maniac!"). As far as its ability to hold glasses, my wrap-around glasses just barely fit...in fact the holder doesn't quite close all the way but it still works great. When closed, my glasses are about 1 3/8" thick at the thickest part. Your mileage may vary.
Also, I think this is the only mod I've ever done in the parking lot of a supermarket -- I had the necessary torx driver with me and I couldn't wait. It literally took me 3 minutes to complete. One last note: I had heard that the parts starting with "3B0" were dampened while the "1CO" parts were not. This is not the case -- mine are dampened. Here are some pics...

Sunglass holder open (had to aim the camera with one hand, hold it open with the other hand, then release the holder and snap the pic before it started to close...it's definitely dampened):
