I have asked AoA & dealers ad nauseum....
The "off the record" response is that the Avant is scheduled for a co-launch with the convertible in Feb. (They like their "launch verve.") And, amazingly enough, pricing is not available until the beginning of Oct., basically the week the first '02s start arriving @ U.S. dealerships. One would think that '01 inventory had been sufficiently reduced by now to release figures....

Re: we likely won't know for a while, the new Avant is supposed to be a bit later than the sedan.
I talked with a dealer this weekend who said the new Avant would not be hitting the lots until the fall of 2003! Does that sound right?
