Default Need advice on buying a performance muffler
Ok, I have a 1999 A4 quattro 5-speed. I am going crazy trying to find a performance muffler that will fit. I am trying to spend around $100-$140. If anyone out there has a performance muffler and the same car as me, what are you running? I really appreciate any help on this...as well a model # would really help! I also am trying to keep with two tips not the single rice burner one.

Default I have searched but am not sure if anything will fit.....
there is a maganflow one but the OEM inlet is on an angle and the magnaflow one is straight on....dont know if it will fit properly

Default You need a muffler that has the inlet off set to one side
and a single or dual outlet. The can must be no longer then 14".

Default How about the new Borla muffler
AWE sells just the muffler for $160 iirc. I don't know if it splices cleanly to the oem pipes though. Call them and ask.
