Default It can be fix!

Check the "How too" section of carcareonline.com They have an excellent article on fixing paint chips. I followed the advice on a front bumper chip that was quite bad. After 10 or 12 coats of paint and using the sanding block, buffing etc. you can barely see it. I bought the touch up paint from my dealer. You get a two bottle system. One for the color and one for clear coat. The cost of the Audi paint was around $ 6.00
Good luck
Roy M 2.8q Tip

Follow the link to get the code. Then order the applicator from your dealer (or Clair).
1998 Brilliant Black color code is L 0Y9B01
Drew S.

Audi Paint Color Codes

Default Touch up

Albert,
I got mine from the dealer since they have the paint codes. Otherwise, if you go through another source, you have to give them your paint codes. Mine were located on a sticker affixed to the inside of my spare wheel well. I don't know where it is for newer cars.
BTW, every time I wash the car, I put another thin layer of the paint in the chip. Once you build it up you can buff it down. A tip I learned from the paint/body shop I use.
-C.
