Default Need help fast please read

I just vagged the car and got random cylinder misfires so i purchased a icm from the dealer. I gave them my vin number and the icm part number they gave me was 8d0-905-351 and the part thats on my car right now is an 4d0-905-351.

did they give me the wrong part or what, I dont know what to do, these things are non refundable. Should i go to the dealer tomorrow and tell them to give me the right one or is this the right one and i should install it. Upon searching i heard that the 8d0 unit will work on an aeb car which is what i have but i dont want to install this and have them tell me its been used if i need to return..

car is a 99.5 aeb audi a4 1.8t quattro five speed.

thanks all

Nay, just the AEB engine. It got the 8D0 prefix for some reason on the 99.5 AEB engine.

You should not buy the Bosch. Huco is much more reliable and cheaper

the hole pattern is slightly different between those two, but the air box is tapped for both. at least mine was.

also, i had two 4d0 parts fail. both were bosch. the 8d0 part i have is a hitachi and all seems to be going well now for over a year. knocks on wood.
