need help on tech article....
i am using the tech article on how to remove the rear deck lid to gain access to rear speakers. i've gotten as far as to where it sais to remove the child seat anchors but i don't see what it's talking about. i see the back of the seat anchors but that's it and it takes a big torx wrench to get those off not a socket plus i don't see why those would need to be removed so the child seat anchors must be something else. does anyone know how i should proceed?? i have a bentley cd manual but it's not working on my computer right now for some goddam reason. please help, thanks.

My car (98.5) didn't have any child seat anchors.
You fold the seats down, then remove to two small side cushions.
Then you unbolt the seat belt anchors, and the rear deck should more or less lift off..
it's been a while, but I'm sure I didn't have any seat belt anchors to worry about..

Seat anchors dont have to be removed. Just push up on the shelf cover...
careful not to break any clips and the speakers are right there. You can read how to remove the shelf by reading the tech on installing CD changer.
