Default NEED HP!!

Hi All, I have a 2000 A4 1.8T, its a great car, but, I am craving for more power. Can someone suggest a cheap solution? What can I do (without voiding the warranty) to increase the HP on this car?

Usually fixed pieces don't seem to bother dealers, like exhaust and manifolds.

Thanks for the reply. I live in Canada (Toronto), can someone suggest a place where I can get these done?

Default Sorry to say...

...but any sort of modification can run you the risk of voiding your warranty. For example, you get an aftermarket exhaust and the flange off the cat broke, they have reason to dispute warranty work due to the aftermarket exhaust. You put in an aftermarket exhaust manifold and later on your turbo goes, that, too, is reason enough to dispute warranty work on your turbo. Granted, they HAVE to prove it, but they can make it EXTREMELY difficult to do so and cause you major inconvinience. Most of the time, not all, it'll be at YOUR expense such that you are the one w/out a car, paying for a rental, responsible for the legal fees should it go that far.

My point is that if you are scared of losing your warranty, don't mod. At least until your warranty is up.

This is not meant to scare you, just give you something to think about.

Buy a horse. That's good for 1HP. And I know it won't void your warranty.
