Default Need input on dealer "issue"

Ok, so the day I picked up my car, on the way home (1-1/2 hr drive) the wife notices a scracth on my glove compartment cover. So, when I get home, I call the salesman who sold me the car, and he says no problem, he'll order one up for me. I ask specifically if he can mail it to me, I'll install it myself, and mail the old one back. He answered yes.

Well, it finally came in after 1-1/2 months of waiting, but now the sales manager is saying "no", he can't send it via mail. Said that he has to charge labor hours and such. I asked then if he could send it to my local dealer, he said geesh, I ordered based on a work order, so I may loose money and not be able to do this.

Sounds like the guy is starting to F*** me over if you ask me.

What do you guys think? If you guys remember, I stayed loyal to this guy, even after my local dealership finally beat his price. This is proving not to have been worth staying loyal to the first dealership.

Let me know your thoughts.

sounds like he really suckered you and gave you the "Loyalty" BS. car salesmen are sharks. they would use "friendship" to sell you a car. I've dealt with many of them and am tired of it.
