Default Need some help with an ECU (more)...

For anyone who can help I'd really appreciate it. I've got a maintenence appointment this Tuesday and I'm trying to find someone with a 99.5 1.8T front trak ECU I can borrow for a few days. I'm not sure if it has to be that year, but it has to be from a 5 speed because I was told that an ECU from a tip wont work. If you or know anyone that can help out I'd really appreciate it. TIA

FYI an ecu from a tip or quattro will work as long as you have a VAG tool to recode it
