Default Need some serious recommendations for a 2.8.....

I have a friend who just bought a 99 2.8 quattro. He is trying to get some more power out of it. He does not want to break the bank ie supercharger kit. I already recommended an exhaust and pulley system. What kind of chips would you suggest? All help is appreciated.

Default if it is not the PES G2, I wouldn't bother...trust me, I have a 98.5 2.8q...I would invest in

suspensions...

Default um, the only way to get any serious power out of the 30v

is to supercharge it, unless you get something custom done...

i have the chip, exhaust (cat-back) and suspension, and im happy. although im saving up for my sc from PES.

Default exhaust, intake and chip

alot of people will say that its not worth it but ya know what, these mods do the same thing on the 1.8 motor (although chip gives roughly 20-40 less hp) and everybody is fine and dandy about putting them on that motor. So wtf ya know?
