new chipped a4 owner with 2 questions. HELP!!
HAVE MTM CHIPPED A4 1.8T TIP. i ALWAYS DRIVE IN TIP. MODE, WHAT IS THE BEST SHIFT(ING) POINTS(RPM) DURING FIRST GEAR AND SECOND TO MAXIMIZE ACCELERATION??
ALSO, CAN A CHIP EVER "BLOW" DUE TO HARD *** DRIVING?? THANKS EVERONE!!

I usually tend to shift at about 5800 rpm throughout all gears although my rev limiter has been raised to 7000 rpm. Based on previous posts, and past driving experiences, the car seems to run out of "gas" and boost decreases once the car goes beyond that point.
As far as your chip blowing, no it won't happen no matter how hard you drive the engine. I still wouldn't recommend that you drive the living crap out of your all the time. Any car that endures that kind of abuse (especially chipped cars which are already running at a higher boost) will not have a long lifespan.
