New to Forum- 98' 2.8 30v Santorin with Ecru

New to Forum- 98' 2.8 30v Santorin with Ecru
Sorry, no pics yet.
Sport Package, Cold Package, and I think Premium too (what's in premium?)

Great top end. Great low end torque. Strange mid-range.
Love the blue dash and Piping on seats, but no sport seats?
Love the handling and the slightly stiff suspension.
Love the steering wheel, audi still keeps all those damn controls off their wheels.
Like the Bose, but I need one factory subwoofer because one is blown. I know everyone ditches their's anyway, so who will sell me one cheap?
Love the color, that and the interior colors are why I bought it.
Don't likes:
Clutch engagement, bad feel and all the way up top?
Lifter noise (just like my 4000q)
Sunroof problems (just like my 4000q) (I've always had great BMW sunroofs that are bigger and trouble free.
Engine flat spot, first gear V-tech like surge after 5500rpm which I don't understand since the variable intake is supposed to start at 4700rpm.
I think the variable intake probably causes the flat spot, but in first the revs build so quick that by the time is changes over, I'm at 5500rpm.
Oil leak, I think valve cover.
Expensive t-belt replacement!

98 or 98.5? do you have amber in your tail lights foot ball logos? or all red tail lights and no
footballs?
Time belt is a must, the 5500 rpm thing I have that too, and the oil leak welcome to the world of a 2.8 mine leaks and I have my second motor and it leaks as well. Never have tried to find it just doens't leak enought to worry on mine, but I love it and will never get rid of it. Hope you love yours as well. here are some pictures from the Indy guys and to help with the 98.0 and 98.5 thing if you don't know what one, there is also a website that will tell you I just can't find it again BW @ mag might have it if he reads this maybe he can post it. If not again welcome to the A4 forum.

Santorin is a cool color Brrman has one his is in the back ground I used this picture because he loves it a picture of him cleaning some one elses car.

Must be 98.5, I love the all red and white taillights. The only ones I like more are the early all red taillights.
