New Tweeters didnt fix bad front left tweeter - Is the amp bad?
I was experiencing bad sound from my front left tweeter. I replaced the tweeters with new infinity 2ohm units. This did not fix the problem.
So now i am assuming, from reading some other threads, that my amp has issues.
Anyone know how to fix the amp? Are there components on the amp i can replace to fix this issue.
While i am no electrical engineer, i am quite comfortable soldering circuitry.

front speakers are powered off the headunit. And front speakers are 4ohm regardless of bose or non bose as well i think. It was only the rear that were 1.5 ohms or so. The tweeters are wired to the door speaker i think. Swap speakers with the other door, if the bad sound follows than its the speaker that is bad.

Your correct that the tweeter is wired to the door speaker. I did swap the speakers and i have the exact same issues.
At low volumes, the speaker sounds very scratchy. With higher volumes, it becomes less noticable.

I think you are looking at the rear door speakers that are going to the amp.
