Newbie Introduction
Well, this is my first post to this group. I have been reading posts here for about a week and find them really helpful and interesting. I became an Audi owner a couple of months ago. I was looking to replace a Ford Explorer and wanted a AWD car. Well, the only one that impressed me very much was the Audi. The local dealer said there were very few 2001s left so I took what he could find that came close to what I would have ordered if that was possible. I have a 2001.5 A4 1.8T with the Celebration Quattro package, Tiptronic, Cold weather pack and ESP. So far, 1500 miles, I love this car. Much more of a sports sedan then I imagined. After reading about modifying this car, I see that improving the performance is very possible. I hope to slowly learn about chipping and other mods to have more fun with my new Melange baby. Oh, I seem to be a minority here not having a Silver baby. Oh well, I'll stand out in a crowd. Hopefully I will be able to help a few people out here with my knowledge, unfortunately it is unlikely to be with cars though. However, if anyone needs advice about their teeth, give me a yell. I'm a middle aged dentist near Syracuse NY, the snow capital of the east. Please be patient with my newbie questions and I'll see you all around. Thanks.

As someone who is new here let me ask you something.....
do the off-topic threads bother you?
There's a huge debate going on regarding the large amount of OT threads, and I'm curious as to the point of view of someone who's new around here, someone who wasn't familiar with the forum before the OT threads were so common.
Personally, they don't bother me that much. (obviously not, seeing how this is an OT question!)
BTW, welcome!!! =)
