I'm 26, never had an accident ticket or anything else to speak of....

State Farm now wants 2600.00 / full coverage a year on a 98 a4 2.8q. And my garage address is in Hamilton, - Mercer County, that has one of lowest theft rates in the nation.

What insurance co's do you guys use?

In my 6 years of auto insurance, I've claimed $3500 (one minor accident and only on my car). Figure 3 years of just liability for used cars at roughly $1200/year and 3 years of full coverage at 2700/year = over $10,000. Yeah, I'd say it's cheaper out of my pocket.
