No wonder I could never get rid of the snub mount vibration...
The entire bracket wasn't bolted to the engine, no clue why. It's just flopping around and the bolts are nowhere to be found. It looks like they haven't been there for a long time...

Trying to decipher ETKA for this part has been a nightmare..
Wonder what else I'll uncover while taking this thing apart.
I think it's safe to say the front main seal was due too

probably from a bad front main seal and intermediate shaft seal
Qfrog made a good point, maybe the car was in an accident that I was unaware of before I bought it (I don't think so, though)

I have heard of this happening to several others as well, I think its a common issue over time
any idea how much the front mail seal costs to replace? I think I may be due as well.

its like 2 dollars
you don't replace the aluminum part, just the little plastic thing in the front (which is the same part number as the two cam seals) and the paper gasket behind it.
you'd have to change it when you're doing your timing belt or something though, because you need to remove the crank pulley and a bunch of other stuff.
