Default Noise on acceleration . (noisier than usual)
I have an Audi a4 2001. Lately I have been noticing more noise than usual upon acceleration and now it has turned from a peaceful ride on the highway to an annoying one. It sounds like I am driving a race car where it did not sound like that before. At first it was high speeds (60mph)but now I can hear it at lower speeds (40mph). Sounds like whatever it is is getting worse. Anyone have an idea of what it could be?

check the catalitic converter flange and/or flex section under the car.

Do NOT take it to Midas (or any of the chains). Bastages messed up my cat flange.

Default ok to drive?
I drive about 120 miles per day. is it still okay to drive until i take it to my mechanic?
