Noise from Driver side when locking doors.
I just started having this noise sound happen when I lock my car. Its on the Driver side quarter panel. I noticed that if I lock the door but leave my rear driver side door open the noise goes away. I checked the locking mechanism and it looks fine comparing it to my right rear door.
I checked the forums and all I saw was gas cap filler door problem. Thanks.

You should check your gas cap filler door. J/K. ;-P
It's probably the lock pin, the part that actually sticks up - if you push it down you manually lock the door, y'know? I'd try to spray that real light with silicone. If it's still there, you may need to gut the door panel, and sit in the back seat while you lock it, to pinpoint the noise. I don't think it'll actually lock if you have the door open though.

Re: What kind of noise? Clicking, hissing?
Its more a clicking noise. Like some metal is hitting another metal. I dont know how the locking mechanism work but if I leave the door open R side rear door it does not make the noise. weird.
