Noise when starting when car has sat all night

Noise when starting when car has sat all night
I get this noise that is fairly loud(not obnoxious, but significantly louder than normal idle) when I start my car when it has been off for many hours. The rpms hang around 1200, then after a minute, the noise goes away and the rpms drop to normal.
This normal, or something going on here?
