noob question - paint code

On the Vehicle Build sticker inside the spare tire well.
A copy of that sticker might be in the owners manual as well, or you can have your dealer's parts dept. run your VIN number to tell you the paint code.

Either on the sticker in the driver's door jam, or on the white options
sticker in your spare tire well. If you know the color of your car, it's probably easier to search AW. Somewhere on this website, someone once posted a list of Audi paint codes.

yes it does
sounds red to me... perhaps laser red? 3= red, 6= green 9= black 7= silver iirc.
