Normal Distribution Curve for your A4...
Why don't people understand this concept and apply it to anything and everything they buy? It is a simple mathematically concept taught to high school students. It simply states that in a normal distribution, there will be a few excellent outcomes and horrible defects at either ends of the bell curve while most average will fall into the middle of the curve.
It's really too bad seeing cases like the "unbias A4 owner" ... if you want sympathy.. you got it from me. But if you want your problem resolved.... hey, go somewhere else, because you and I both know that your car won't be fixed on this board.
I am sorry if this insulted anyone, but man... all this whinning and crying... this sucks, that blows... I am sure Jason didn't create this board for cry babies nor Audi bashers.
Cris
What I'd like to see ...

Wouldn't it be cool (and unbelievably tedious) to come up with normal distributions for troublefree-ness versus parameters such as build date, build location, port of arrival, dealership , etc ?
We might discover trends such as "cars from the Neckarsulm plant that are coming into port of Houston tend to have sunroof switch problems."
Maybe some quality assessment dept.'s with multimillion dollar budgets already have such systems in place...

$0.02
-K.
