well yesterday my cel came on, didn't think much of it since those things go on and off a lot, and i don't have a vag-com. well the light remained tonight and my boost gauge was reporting the car only making .30 bar of boost or roughly 4.5 psi...this was on my drive to the movie theater...however on the return drive home the car boosted normally holding around .55-.60 bar(7-8psi) tomorrow when i get up i plan to do a TBA, and check vac hoses and all that...fluids are all normal, check last week...anything specific i should check, any advice b4 i head over and get the codes pulled at my shop?...my thinking is it might be a leaking/sticking bpv(still original stock)the car is 00 with roughly 70k miles thanks for any advice u guys can offer

70 on an 00? you can do better than that ;-)

but honestly I dont see how a hose could be the problem if it is intermitant.

it was in excellent condition with just slight wear on driver's seat... purchased may 03 sat mostly till sept when driver's license was aquired.... sat for a while after parents got pissed at 91 in a 55 on my way to go snowboarding(4 months from jan to april) sat 3 weeks in may due to door being taken off by person going 4 inches from car.... sat mostly from sept of 04-may 05 due to me going to school in hawaii...dad drove it lightly.... i put on most my mileage since i got home in may commuting to work 70 miles/day and now my school commute is 100 miles/day

Get it scanned, something is failing.
