no problem. I would still do some research, though. too bad the search function is down.

but, common sense tells me you'd be fine.

I'd be more worried about your 8.5", +35mm wheels not clearing -- but, if those are fine... then I don't see how the x8, +45 setup would be an issue.

your right

im just not too familiar with offsets on wheels do you? i believe the guy said the inner lip of the rim might hit the coil springs.

If you're running a 8.5 with ET 35 today and go to a 8 with ET 45, you'll decrease your inside

clearance by 4mm. Look to see how much room you have to the inside of the wheel/tire to the shock/spring right now.
