Default You can buy it at your dealership. It's not very expensive at all...

Or you can order it online. But you'll need to know the part #. What Year car and engine model do you have. I'll give you a part # now.

Seems like a common failure, I broke the oil dip stick handle. It must be from the heat in the engine bay.

Mine is A4 1.8T Year 2000
Yes, that's a common problem. I already replace the handle too.
Thanks for the Part No.

Default A few bits of plastic won't hurt (more)...

... if it drops down in there - it'll get pulverized in the crankcase. It's impossible that it could foul the oil pump, either. No worries.

I pulled the valve cover off a 16V GTI once & found a dozen or so plastic oil container cap "rings" sitting there on the windage tray. Nice.

Default The Dirty Dozen?

Who dropped those oil container caps in there? Once could be an accident, if someone is really clumsy, I guess. But a DOZEN? :-P

Default I show

053 103 663 for the funnel and 049 103 634 for the lower half that the funnel snaps into.
For Vin greater than 300 001 I show a combo part (both pieces) as 06B 103 663C
