oil dipstick tube broke. pull off old one and push on new one? nothing tricky, just snaps on right?

Well, in theory yes... I had to take the handle of a screw driver and sort of pound it down for it
to seal and so when I pulled the dipstick, the tube wouldn't come with... Make sure the two little fingers get under that metal tab...

yea thats what happend to me...went to check oil and tube came with the stick =( clean break though
so i don't have fragmented pieces everywhere like some people have experienced. just have the lower quarter part of the tube still attached. ill be careful not to drop anything in the oil when taking it off and be as gentle as i can, putting the new one on since i've heard (and apparently experienced lol) that they're pretty delicate.
