Just this last week I noticed a stain on the garage floor that was brand new. Can't quite see where it is coming from, but looks to be about midway along the engine and off center towards the passenger side. Pretty sure it is oil, but as there seems to be no good way to check the tipronic fluid level, I was wondering if anyone new what color the transmission fliud would be? Checking oil level daily, and it seems fine. Have an appointment to bring it in, but that is a few weeks away.

motor mount most likely or one of your cv boots could be leaking

now I wonder if the hum is the CV eating itself. Completelty speed dependant, but not related at all to engine speed or gear.
