Oil Problem
Has anyone that recently got a new A4 had a problem like this: my 2001 A4 has about 2,500 miles on it. On a recent trip the car literally ran out of oil. I suspected that the dealer forgot to check/fill it when they sold it to me. The service department said that new Audis can burn up to a quart of oil every 800 miles during the break in period. Anyone experienced this?

Our 2.8 used about a quart every 1000 miles for the first 8000 miles or so. Now it uses about a quart every 3000 miles or so. Never trust a dealer. Always check everything. I've caught them over filling twice now. I check when I pick up the car, if it's not right back it goes.
