OK EVERYBODY... i just got a '96 black on black 2.8 A4 what do you suggest i do to it (more)
I have about $1,800 to spend on it and $600 is going to a system but i will make more money what do you suggest I do to it to make it look nicer and also what should i do to help it run better. simple or big things i don't care i just want ideas and everyone here has good taste from what i have seen............ also if you can give me web sites and/or phone numbers to go to get the things you suggest. ......... but please remember i don't have that large of a budget THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH

on a 2.8?? Umm not sure how much a super charger is..but do that...PES SUPERCHARGER :-D..
but I know it is more then 1800..
If i had a 2.8..for 1800 I would get wheel/tire package and suspension.
If there was any money left over...perhaps an intake/exhaust..or Euros...

No supercharger for the 12V 2.8 :( but heres what I'm doing:
Bilstein Shocks and Eibach springs, OEM Polished Tips, K&N Drop-in air filter, and eventually 17" wheels. Thats over your budget...but I think you see a pattern.....unless you have a thick wallet, the only mods worth it on the 12v are for looks or handling....no power mods.
Check Clairparts.com for the tips, Pep Boys for the K&N.
If you really want power mods, go to tdlracing.com (not sure if that is the exact url)

Ok, let me fill ya in...
Your '96 2.8L is a 12 valve(2 valves per cylinder). Most talk down about the 12v and its lack of performance mods but there are plenty. If you intersted in knowing more about the car, join the 12v Yahoo group. You can do so by clicking the link below.
