ok, here's a snow related question...if ABS is disabled, then EDL is disabled?

Yeah, but simply pressing the ESP button doesn't turn it completely off.
I've heard that if you hold it for 10 seconds it will shut it off completely, but I haven't had the chance to thoroughly test that. Later today I may take my girl's '06 A4 out in the snow and play with it a bit....see if I can't get ESP to intervene with it shut off.

Well again, that's not rear bias, it's that it can't reduct bias under heavy dive....
Whereas in stock mode, it would just pulse the rear brakes, with the ABS disabled, you get them closer to lockup.. Personally, I like having the rear dancing under braking.. Better than the FRONT dancing!! =)

so are you turning and braking- correct? and having problems with the inside rear..
locking? your brake bias has not shifted to the rear you are only taking too much weight of the rear and asking to much of the available traction on that tire.

I will use snow tires at the ice track and I deff. think EDL helps coming out of low speed turns and
accelerating hard. After a good session on the ice track I notice the smell of the brakes and I'm sure it's not from braking hard - it's from
the EDL working hard.
