Default ok i am sick of searching vag com'd my car came up with this.....

P0171 bank 1 fuel to lean blah blah,, you have seen it a million times. i went to block 32 to check it out the "at idle" block read -3.4%.
Second block read "p. throttle" 25.0%

What should the numbers be? The second one is too high right,, time to clean my maf?

Default +-10% is within spec, at +-20% your ECU will throw an error and a CEL

+-25% is the maximum compensation your ECU can do, anything higher then that and your running dangerously lean or rich. Clean the MAF, and search for a large vacuum leak.

Default you can pressurize the intake

or simply spray water on it and listen for idle changes

Default 25%

you have a LEAK.

I cannot overstress this enough. I failed emissions 3 times and replaced almost every sensor there is that relates to emissions, just to find that it was tiny leaks near the 02 sensor throwing the mixture off.

You need to pressure check everything and get out the soapy water.

Default So i did a pressure check, i could find no leak, cleaned my maf....

The power is back plus some. Car runs perfect no hesitation at all. on block 32 it now says....0.0 and 3.2% So i think that i had a dirty MAF. Thanks for the help fellas.
