Ok, I'm confused about "City Lights." PLEASE HELP!
I'm looking to modify my lights to make them look like the Bimmer 5 series (the 2001 model- it looks sweet). What exactly are city lights? I'm thinking of doing a clear corner mod w/ the 5 series ring around my xenon projectors. Any suggestions on how to perform both mods? Especially everyone who's performed the clear corner mod. What color are your bulbs? Orange still, or yellow, or blue? I'm confused about what color to make mine. Thanks in advance.

clear corner mod is a FAQ, I use stock turn bulbs (not a fan of blue/white)
the round lights around the projectors ala the 540's, hard ****... if I remeber those are some fiber system or something. You would have to completely take the light housing apart to get in there... not worth it... (if possible)
I had one behind me last night, they look totally sweet.

Here's what a city light is...
My understanding...on a euro housing, there is a extra bulb hole in the back of the headlamp. That extra bulb is a low wattage city light. It's not as bright as a low beam...more like another parking light. When it's lit (without the headlights being on) it looks like a parking light is on inside the main headlamp unit. The "rings" you see on the BMW are probably a little different. They appear to be quite bright, as you can still see them even if the headlights are on. I do like the look though. I can see that becoming the next big rage in the modding community.
